A woman’s body was found outside a Hemet business on Thursday, Sept. 1, and the cause of death remained under investigation Saturday.
The body, with severe trauma, was discovered around 7:45 p.m. outside a business that had closed for the day in the 400 block of West Stetson Avenue, according to Hemet police Capt. Glen Brock.
The woman’s name was not released pending notification of family.
A search warrant for a person of interest was served on Friday at an apartment complex in the 1000 block of South Gilbert Street but the person was not found. There was no suspect description available and no arrests were announced as of Saturday.
