Trash collection sites set up for San Bernardino Mountains residents – San Bernardino Sun



Until regular trash pickup can resume in the San Bernardino Mountains, disposal sites have set up for residents.

San Bernardino County agencies along with others throughout the region and the state have been working to help residents in the mountain communities following the recent blizzard.

The county and Burrtec have partnered to open the sites for residents, a news release says.

Waste can be taken to the following locations from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Lake Arrowhead Elementary School, 1300 Golden Rule Lane, Lake Arrowhead

Charles Hoffman Elementary School, 2851 Running Springs School Road, Running Springs

Valley of Enchantment Elementary School, 22836 Fir Lane, Crestline

Mary Putnam Henck Elementary School, 730 Rhine Road, Lake Arrowhead

Valero Gas Station, 26599 Pine Ave., Rim Forest

The following locations have different hours:

9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.: Lake Gregory North Parking Lot, 24171 Lake Drive, Crestline

8 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Burrtec Mountain Disposal Crestline Yard, 988 Waterman Canyon Road, Crestline
