‘South Park’ will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a free exhibit in Hollywood – San Bernardino Sun

The Comedy Central animated series “South Park” is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a free interactive exhibit from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20 at the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street in Hollywood.

The South Park: The 25th Anniversary Experience is a traveling exhibition housed in a shipping container with an Eric Cartman-inspired paint job on the exterior. It will showcase props, memorabilia, artwork, collectibles, never-before-seen scripts, storyboards, concept art and more. There will be other photo ops with additional characters and familiar landscapes on display as well.

“South Park” creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone performed with a number of special guests for two nights at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colo. last week to commemorate the milestone. As Parker and Stone voiced the beloved characters Kyle, Cartman, Stan and Kenny, they performed songs from the show along with members of Primus, Ween and Rush. Parker and Stone recently signed a $900 million deal to renew “South Park” for six more seasons and committed to 14 original made-for-streaming movies on Paramount+.
