Silverlake Ramen opens in Rancho Cucamonga’s Victoria Gardens – San Bernardino Sun


Silverlake Ramen has opened in Rancho Cucamonga’s Victoria’s Gardens. neighborhood of Los Angeles before it spread throughout Southern California. There is a location in The Shoppes at Chino Hills and, according to its website, others are in the works for Temecula and the Galleria at Tyler in Riverside.

The menu includes ramen with chicken, creamy pork or vegetable broth; bowls with Japanese fried chicken, ground chicken or spicy tuna; California and hand rolls; and appetizers such as pork dumplings, edamame and creamy broccolini.

When the Victoria Gardens restaurant opened recently, it was only open for dinner but is expanding its hours to include lunch.

It offers full service, mostly on a covered patio. There are few tables inside as well as counter seats for a sake and beer bar.

Purchases  are by card only, according to signs in the window.

It is at 12466 N. Mainstreet in the outdoor shopping center, a site near the food hall previously occupied by the Pie Hole.

There’s another new eatery a few steps away in the food hall. Elephant Thai Restaurant serves such dishes as garlic wings, pad thai and green curry. For dessert, there is mango with sticky rice in season, and beverages include Thai iced ice.

In between Silverlake Ramen and the fall, the Inland Empire’s first Shake Shack is under construction in a building formerly occupied by Jamba Juice.
