The Official Blues Brothers Revue will appear March 4-6 at the California Theatre of the Performing Arts in San Bernardino.
The duo, composed of Kieron Lafferty (Elwood Blues) and Wayne Catania (Jake Blues), was chosen by Dan Aykroyd, Judith Belushi Pisano and original Blues Brothers musical director Paul Shaffer to carry the torch lit by the duo of Aykroyd and John Belushi on “Saturday Night Live” in 1978 and carried on in the 1980 film directed by John Landis, according to a news release.
Backed by the Intercontinental Rhythm & Blues Band, the Official Blues Brothers Revue is a multi-media interactive experience showcasing rock, blues and soul and including songs such as “Soul Man,” “Gimme Some Lovin’,” “Sweet Home Chicago” and “Shout.”
Performances are 8 p.m. March 4, 2 and 8 p.m. March 5 and 2 p.m. March 6. For tickets, call 909-885-8263 or go to ticketmaster.com.
