See ‘Clue’ on the Yucaipa High School stage – San Bernardino Sun

Yucaipa High School’s Thunderbird Theatre Company will present a high school edition of Jonathan Lynn’s “Clue,” opening 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16.

Performances in the school’s Multipurpose Room will continue at 7 p.m. Nov. 17 and 18 and 1 and 7 p.m. Nov. 19.

The play, a farce-meets-murder-mystery, is based on the 1985 Paramount movie, which was inspired by the Hasbro board game.

Sarah Gray, director of the Thunderbird Theater Company, directs the production.

“The Thunderbird theater team has been working so hard this year to prepare for our upcoming production of ‘Clue,” Gray said in a news release.

“The tech crew this year is putting on the final touches of the biggest set we’ve created at Yucaipa High School since 2016. It is a huge undertaking but the students are thriving and doing an amazing job. The actors are having a blast learning these classic board game characters and finding the humor and silliness in a murder mystery,” Gray said in the news release.

Yucaipa High School is at 33000 Yucaipa Blvd. Tickets are $12 at the door.
