San Bernardino man shot to death in Baseline wash – San Bernardino Sun



A San Bernardino man was killed in a shooting in the Baseline wash, police said Tuesday, March 29.

Police were alerted to a shooting on March 23 in the area of the Baseline wash west of California Street at about 10:09 a.m., authorities said. Hamilton Taracena, 39, was found suffering from a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at 11:10 a.m., according the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office.

Several people reportedly fled the scene prior to the arrival of police, authorities said. Police release no information about possible suspects.

Detectives are asking for the public to identify anyone who may have been at the location or who could identify their persons of interest in the investigation.
