San Bernardino man admits to killing his wife during attack in Eastvale – San Bernardino Sun

RIVERSIDE — A 41-year-old San Bernardino man who shot and killed his wife and wounded his teenage son during an attack in Eastvale pleaded guilty Friday  to murder and other charges.

Rahman Leon Hunter admitted the murder count, as well as charges of attempted murder and sentence-enhancing gun and great bodily injury allegations under a plea agreement with the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office. No charges were dismissed.

The plea was announced just as Hunter’s case was called for a preliminary hearing before Superior Court Judge Judith Clark, who scheduled a sentencing hearing for Sept. 30 at the Riverside Hall of Justice.

Hunter is being held without bail at the Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta.
