LOS ANGELES — An 18-year-old man who was shot to death in the unincorporated Florence-Graham area near South Los Angeles was identified Saturday.
The victim was identified as Jesus Salazar of Muscoy, a San Bernardino County community, according to the coroner’s office.
Deputies from the Century Sheriff’s Station were called at 7:49 p.m. Friday to the 800 block of East 82nd Street, east of Central Avenue, where they found Salazar in a car with apparent gunshot wounds, said Deputy Brenda Serna of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Los Angeles police officers who initially responded regarding a traffic collision determined the victim crashed his car after he was shot.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene, Serna said.
No information was available about a suspect or suspect vehicle.
