San Bernardino City Unified School District will hold Latino History Bee in April – San Bernardino Sun

Students from across the San Bernardino City Unified School District will test their knowledge of Latin-American and Hispanic history and culture during the district’s Latino History Bee, to be held in April.

The event is organized by the district’s multilingual programs department to help students learn about and embrace the history and cultural heritage of people of Latin-American and Hispanic descent, according to a news release.

The Latino History Bee has multiple rounds, with each round focusing on a different theme.

The multilingual programs department is asking local businesses and individuals to help make the event a success by donating time and resources. Any donations are welcome, from cash to bottles of water. To become a sponsor, contact Allynn Scott at 909-891-1013.

The Latino History Bee will be held 5-8 p.m. April 20 in the Performing Arts Theater at Indian Springs High School, 650 N. Del Rosa Drive, San Bernardino.
