San Bernardino-based Swans Club prepares to present 6 debutantes – San Bernardino Sun

The San Bernardino-based Swans Club, which provides support to college-bound teenage girls, is at the midway point of its 2022 debutante season.

The nonprofit organization has recently held its traditional mother-daughter luncheon and father-daughter event, and this year’s six debutantes will be presented Nov. 12 at the annual debutante ball at the San Bernardino DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, according to a news release.

The Swans Club, founded in 1960, offers scholarships and mentorship activities for the young women in the debutante program. This year’s theme is “Timeless Elegance and Purpose.”

The 2022 debutantes are Kendall Allen, a senior at Cajon High School in San Bernardino; Kayla Bodon, a senior at Eisenhower High School in Rialto; Kyndall Reddix-Brown, a senior at Cajon High School; Hailey Hayes, a senior at Yucaipa High School; Terri Keel, a senior at San Gorgonio High School in San Bernardino; and Ja’Nyla Moreno, a senior at Cajon High School.

Because of rising college costs, the Swans Club has instituted a new structure for its donations. All donations for souvenir booklet advertisements will go toward the Debutante Scholarship Fund and program costs, while tickets for the debutante ball will be sold separately, no longer included in ad sales.
