California car culture will roar to life in downtown Ontario when the Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion returns in September.
The free two-day event, which celebrates classic cars and the Mother Road, will be held Sept. 16-17 on Euclid Avenue and Ontario Town Square.
Sponsored by the Greater Ontario Convention & Visitors Bureau, the ninth annual Cruisin’ Reunion features a a Ferris wheel, food vendors and a car show that spans 22 city blocks filled with classic cruisers, convertibles, hot rods, and wood-paneled Woodies.
Live entertainment kicks off Friday evening, with Jefferson Starship headlining. Saturday evening, Emmy and Grammy-nominated singer Sheila E. will perform.
The event runs 5-11 p.m. Sept. 16 and 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sept. 17. Early registration for the car show is available through Aug. 31.
