Riverside County taps Bloomington nonprofit to run treatment center – San Bernardino Sun

Riverside County has selected a new operator for the Arlington Recovery Community & Sobering Center after closing the residential treatment portion of the center and firing the private company that ran the facility.

Cedar House Life Change Center, a nonprofit based in Bloomington, was awarded a contract to run the center in late December after the previous contract holders, MFI Recovery, were fired earlier in the month, according to Robert Youssef, a spokesperson for Riverside University Health System Behavioral Health.

Cedar House will need a state license to run the center, a process that may take 90 days, Youssef said Thursday, Dec. 29.
