Rialto man, 22, arrested on suspicion of sexually exploiting minors across U.S. – San Bernardino Sun

A 22-year-old Rialto man accused of exchanging sexually explicit images with children across the U.S. was arrested, police announced Wednesday, June 8.

On June 1, Naftal Ndege was arrested in the 1600 block of West Via Bello following a child pornography investigation, according to San Bernardino County jail records.

Detectives had learned that Ndege had been in contact with multiple minors over social media and text for about one year, the Rialto Police Department said in a news release. Ndege had sexual conversations with the minors and sent explicit photos and videos of himself to them, authorities said.

He also threatened at least one of the victims that he was going to “shoot her in the head” if she did not perform sexual acts, police said.

Six minor victims have been identified in states from Arizona to New York, the Police Department said.

He was arrested on suspicion of sending sexual content to a minor, communicating with a minor with sexual intentions, making criminal threats and possession and distribution of child pornography, police said. He was being held on $100,000 bail, authorities said.

It wasn’t immediately known if Ndege is represented by an attorney who could comment on the allegations.

Anyone who may have been victimized by Ndege was asked to contact Detective Hintz at VHintz@rialtopd.com or by calling 909-820-2550.
