Rexford Industrial buys 2 Fontana warehouses for $70 million – San Bernardino Sun

Rexford Industrial Realty is on a buying binge, scooping up multiple industrial properties in Southern California in just a few weeks.

In Fontana, the firm spent $70.2 million on two properties, one a warehouse and the other a distribution center for US Cabinet Depot. The seller in both transactions was IDI Logistics Inc.

The building that’s home to Cabinet Depot sold for $59.2 million, according to Vizzda, a commercial real estate data provider.

The 158,119-square-foot distribution center completed in 2019 sits on 7 acres of land at the intersection of Live Oak and Jurupa avenues.

The sale on Jurupa Avenue closed on the same day Rexford paid $10.9 million for a 48,763-square-foot warehouse just 2 miles away at 10660 Mulberry Ave.

The facility, with a distinctive, arched red entrance and adjacent BMX track, has “themed architecture” that spans two floors of office space with conference rooms, common areas, a lobby and designated workspaces.
