Redlands, Norco breweries celebrate anniversaries this weekend – San Bernardino Sun



Saturday beer Escape

Escape Craft Brewing in Redlands will celebrate its seventh anniversary from 1-9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, at its barrelhouse, 721 Nevada St., Suite 401.

The event will feature hourly special beer releases, food, and music.

Arena Red and Michael Landingham will provide the music, and 4Tinos, Dough Dudes Pizza, and Tom’s Smoking Hot BBQ will provide the food.

A limited number of VIP tickets are available for $40 on the brewery’s website, escapecraftbrewery.com.

The tickets include a commemorative glass, a limited-edition pin, two full beer pours, early entry at noon, access to a VIP speed line and a branded insulated beer tote.

GreyWolf anniversary

In Norco, GreyWolf Brewing Co. will celebrate its second anniversary from noon-10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12.

The non-ticketed event will feature all-day pint discounts and wood-fired pizza for sale and music from the Bare Knuckle Band.

Grey Wolf is at 1780 Town and Country Drive, Suite 101.

Bleu Pitt replacement

Eyes on Pies Cafe is now open in San Bernardino.

The eatery opened recently at 165 W. Hospitality Lane, Suite 17, in the former home of the Bleu Pitt Cafe, which closed in September.

The shop serves a variety of sandwiches and salads, along with coffee drinks, smoothies and juices.

Hours are 6 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday.

Redlands tea spot

Teaport has opened at 410 Orange St., Redlands.

The shop offers a selection of tea and coffee drinks, along with smoothies and slushies.

There’s also a location in San Dimas.

Hours are 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday and 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday though Saturday.

Get some Snacks

Snacks has opened recently at 985 S. E St., Suite B, San Bernardino.

The shop offers a variety of coffee, tea, and boba drinks.

Hours are 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.

New poke place

Ahipoki has opened in Redlands.

The restaurant offers poke bowls, along with teriyaki chicken and grilled salmon plates, hand rolls and musubi, a sushi “burrito” and an assortment of sides.

It’s at 627 Orange St., Suite D, a former Starbucks.

Hours are 11 a.m.-9 p.m. daily.

It’s the latest Inland Empire location for the chain, which also has locations in Upland, Riverside, Rialto and Moreno Valley.

Open again in Hemet

MegaBites, a dining and entertainment venue that was closed for two years due to the pandemic, has reopened.

The restaurant/arcade/sports bar is at 1153 S. State St., Hemet.
