Pomona man arrested on suspicion of deadly shooting outside hotel – San Bernardino Sun



A Pomona man accused of fatally shooting an Apple Valley resident near a Pomona hotel has been arrested, police said.

Donald Moore, 37, was taken into custody on Wednesday, Feb. 2, on suspicion of shooting Enrique Falcon, a resident of Apple Valley, that night, according to Pomona police.

Officers responded to a call about gunfire around 7 p.m. in the 300 block of East Foothill Boulevard, where they found Falcon, 25, suffering from a gunshot wound near an American Inn & Suites hotel, a news release stated.

First responders attempted to treat Falcon’s injuries but he died at the scene.

Detectives said they found Moore hiding in a room at the hotel. He was booked on suspicion of murder.

He remained in jail as of Tuesday, Feb. 8 in lieu of  $3.1 million bail. No possible motive for the killing was released, and the investigation was ongoing.
