Office fire won’t disrupt access to services, San Bernardino County officials say – San Bernardino Sun

A fire at a San Bernardino County government building Sunday morning will have few direct impacts to the general public, officials said.

The three-alarm fire engulfed the fourth floor of a six-story building housing three county agencies at 172 W. Third Street in San Bernardino on Sunday, June 19. About 110 firefighters from San Bernardino, Colton, Chino, Highland, Redlands and Rialto battled the blaze.

The building houses San Bernardino County Code Enforcement, Public Health and the civil grand jury.

The public does not access services in the Third Street building. But the public does get animal licensing next door at 351 N. Mountain View Ave.
