A classic car, a steam engine and an airplane.

The Santa Fe Depot, the California Theatre and the National Orange Show.

Four arrowheads.

And last but not least, “Forever strong.”

All vibrant, all distinctive, all pieces of a 10-foot-by-30-foot mural on the back of a new Fitness Court at Blair Park in San Bernardino.

Local officials and community members celebrated the artwork of local artist Darren Villegas Wednesday, Nov. 9, as they marked the opening of the new outdoor fitness space.

“We are beyond excited to have this innovative option for fitness in San Bernardino,” Lydie Gutfeld, city parks director, said in a news release.

The Fitness Court at Blair Park was made possible with a $30,000 grant from the National Fitness Campaign and additional funding from the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians and the California Parks and Recreation Society.
