Runners from and visiting the Inland Empire navigated downtown San Bernardino on foot during the inaugural Race for ReWritten 5K run Sunday, June 12.
About 100 laced up their running shoes for the cause.

ReWritten is a local nonprofit that supports young adults who have grown up without a father. The funds raised will benefit its programs.
The 3.1-mile course included stretches that guided runners, walkers and everyone in between past historic buildings and small businesses.
All participants received a swag bag of goodies.
The male and female winner took home medals and gift cards.
ReWritten founder Frank Perez is hopeful the run can become an annual event.
