National Weather Service issues flash flood warning in parts of San Bernardino County – San Bernardino Sun



The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning Wednesday, Sept. 28 after an afternoon storm poured significant rain over Yucaipa and Calimesa in San Bernardino County.

The flash flood warning was issued at 4:23 p.m. after Yucaipa reported 0.85 inches of rain in 15 minutes, according to NWS meteorologist Adam Roser, who added that the storm was highly localized. Redlands and Beaumont were also included in the warming, which is set to last until 5:45 p.m.

Cal Fire said those living in a burn scar area should shelter in place if flooding occurs.

No injuries or structure damage have been reported as of 5:00 p.m. Wednesday.
