Michael Myers returns to Universal Studios Hollywood – San Bernardino Sun

Producers of Universal Studios Hollywood’s annual Halloween Horror Nights continue to roll out the mazes for its 2022 season. The theme park revealed on Wednesday that it would be paying homage to director John Carpenter’s 1978 classic slasher film, “Halloween.”

The film’s masked and knife-wielding antagonist, Michael Myers, will return to the theme park in an all-new attraction that will immerse horror fans into some of the most well-known scenes in the movie, taking them back to where it all began in the infamous town of Haddonfield, Ill.

The attraction will also celebrate the release of the latest film in the franchise, “Halloween Ends,” which hits theaters on Oct. 14.

Halloween Horror Nights kicks off on Sept. 8 and, so far, only one other maze has been announced. The Universal Monsters: Legends Collide attraction will bring together classic Universal monsters The Wolf Man, Dracula and The Mummy, along with an original score created by Guns ‘N Roses guitarist, Slash. Additional mazes for the 2022 season will be announced in the coming months.
