Many new restaurants open across the Inland Empire – San Bernardino Sun

The rapidly-expanding Kalaveras Mexican food chain has opened another Inland Empire location.

The new location is at 23060 Alessandro Blvd., Moreno Valley.

The restaurant was formerly Garlic Rose (thanks to reader Jennifer, who schooled us on Facebook), Bottom Gun Café, P.H. Woods and was most recently Woody’s, which opened in 2019 and closed in late 2021 or early 2022.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday.

In addition to Moreno Valley, the chain has locations in Chino Hills, Riverside and Rancho Cucamonga.

Future locations are planned for Montclair, Temecula, Corona, and perhaps, San Bernardino.

New breakfast spot

A new breakfast spot has opened in Rancho Cucamonga.

Haven Haus Cafe opened recently at 7890 Haven Ave., Suites 15 and 16.

The restaurant offers a variety of American and Mexican breakfast food favorites.

Hours are 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily.

The location was formerly Garnish Pizza & Mediterranean Grill.

Open in Ontario

A new eatery has landed at the Rodeo X Public Market food hall in south Ontario.

Kra Z Kai’s Laotian Barbeque opened last month at 3430 E. Ontario Ranch Road, Suite 3.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The restaurant appears to have replaced Okami Ramen.

More cookies

Crumbl Cookies continues to expand here in the Inland Empire.

The dessert chain’s latest location has opened in the Highland Village at 16918 S. Highland Ave., Suite 200, Fontana.
