Man killed when his vehicle hits a wall in Menifee – San Bernardino Sun

MENIFEE — A 44-year-old man was killed when his vehicle plowed into a retainer wall adjacent to a Menifee home, authorities said Monday.

Jason Remington of Menifee was fatally injured shortly before 8 p.m. Friday in the 27000 block of Via Real, according to the Menifee Police Department.

Sgt. Matthew Bloch said that Remington was driving his car eastbound when he apparently lost control and slammed into the wall.

Good Samaritans pulled the victim out of his car and attempted CPR until Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department paramedics arrived and initiated life-saving measures, which were ultimately unsuccessful, Bloch said.

Remington was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported.

Anyone with information about the crash was asked to contact the police department’s Traffic Bureau at 951-723-1565.
