One person was injured in what police described as a gang shooting at the Inland Center mall in San Bernardino on Friday, Sept. 30.
Around 1 p.m., police received calls about a possible active shooter at the mall in the 500 block of Inland Center Drive, said Sgt. Equino Thomas, a spokesman for the San Bernardino Police Department.
One man was found in the parking lot near the mall’s food court suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Thomas said.
The shooting was gang-related and an isolated incident, he said. Further information was not available Friday afternoon.
