A man died after being shot at a storage facility in Highland on Sunday evening, June 5, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said.
On Sunday, deputies responded at 8:38 p.m. to a shooting in the 7000 block of Jasper Street and found 48-year-old Ronald Bernier suffering from a gunshot wound, the Sheriff’s Department said in a news release. Bernier was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.
The events leading up to the shooting were not immediately clear.
No suspect information was immediately available.
