Just how cold was it Thursday morning in Southern California? – San Bernardino Sun

A winter blast has brought freezing temperatures and low-elevation snow to Southern California this week.

See just how cold it got the morning of Thursday, Feb. 24, at every weather station monitored by the National Weather Service offices in San Diego and Los Angeles.

Lows ranged from a frigid -5 degrees in the mountains near Big Bear Lake to 60 degrees in the Spring Valley area east of San Diego. Temperatures were 32 or below at 1,090 of almost 2,500 locations shown on the map — more than 40% of them.
