How to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day 2022 at Southern California casinos – San Bernardino Sun

If you’re feeling lucky and celebratory for St. Patrick’s Day, a number of Southern California casinos have Irish-inspired food, drinks and entertainment on tap.

All specials and events are for Thursday, March 17, unless otherwise noted.

Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City

Agave Caliente Terraza: The Fighting Jamesons will perform their mix of rock and traditional Irish music on Friday, March 18, and Saturday, March 19, at the casino’s outdoor venue. The shows are free and open to guests 21 and older. People can reserve their tickets on the casino’s website and pick them up after 3 p.m on the day of the event. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m.

Café One Eleven:  For breakfast, corned beef hash topped with two eggs and a choice of toast. 9-11 a.m. $15. For lunch and dinner, there’s a special of a corned beef Reuben with sauerkraut, secret sauce and gruyere cheese. 11 a.m.-8 p.m. $18.

360 Sports: Irish nachos made with waffle fries, salsa verde, corned beef, sour cream, sliced jalapeños and shredded cheese ($18). Drink specials include the Shamrocker Cocktail made with Cazadores Blanco tequila, Midori, Triple Sec and orange juice served with a salted rim with an orange twist ($12); Irish Eyes cocktail made with Jameson, crème de Menthe Liqueur and half and half served with a chocolate rim and a cherry ($12). 360 Sports in Palm Springs: Food specials include a corned beef sandwich with fries ($10) and bangers and mash made with pork sausage and served with mashed potatoes and onion gravy ($14). Green domestic and craft draft beer ($4). All day.

The Steakhouse: Irish bread pudding with whiskey caramel and pistachio gelato. 5-10 p.m. $12.

Drink special: The casino will offer the Nutty Irishman, made with Irish cream and hazelnut liqueur, at Pom, Bistro, Joy, Lit Lounge, Twelve and the Springs Bar March 17-March 20. $10.

Special Events Center: Celebrate St. Patrick’s day with Flogging Molly’s mix of Irish folk and punk rock. $39-$69. 7:30 p.m. March 19.

Harrah’s Resort Southern California

Drink specials: The resort’s bars will offer a St. Jameson cocktail with Jameson, St. Germain sweet and sour mix topped with citrus soda ($10) and an Irish Mule made with Jameson, Angostura bitters and squeezed lime juice topped with ginger beer and garnished with lime ($9). All day.

Events Center: Flogging Molly will also perform at Harrah’s Resort Southern California. $29.50-$70.50. 8 p.m. March 18.

Good Times Café: Corned beef dinner served with steamed cabbage, potatoes, baby carrots and horseradish. 11 a.m.-midnight. $23.99.

Pink Coffee: White chocolate Irish cream mousse cup served with a shamrock cookie. All day.

Pala Casino Spa & Resort

Pala Café: Three-course meal includes soup, entrée of corned beef and cabbage served with potatoes and carrots and chocolate mint cheesecake for dessert. 11 a.m. until closing. $22.95.

Pechanga Resort Casino

Drink specials: The Luck of the Irish cocktail is made with Jameson Irish whiskey, Midori, ginger beer and lime ($13.72) and the Drunken Leprechaun includes Jameson Irish whiskey, honey Guinness syrup, ginger ale and a bit of lemon juice ($10). Cocktails can be purchased at the Round Bar, Acorns Bar and Corner Bar. All day.

Kelsey’s: Guinness-braised corned beef, mashed potatoes and crispy brussels sprouts. 4-10 p.m. $36.

Pechanga Café: Slow-roasted corned beef served with cabbage and red baked potatoes. All day. $20.

Spotlight 29 Casino

Taproom 29: Corned beef and cabbage with soda bread ($16.99). Drink specials include green beer ($3), a pint of stout ($5) and shot of Jameson ($5). 4-10 p.m.

Valley View Casino & Hotel

Black & Blue Steakhouse: Three-course meal starts with a Caesar salad. Entrée choices include caramelized honey mustard rack of lamb served with mashed potatoes and braised cabbage, pan-seared Chilean sea bass served with a pea and celery root puree, or Filet Mignon served with roasted corn, potato puree and pearl onions. Dessert is Baileys Irish Cream cheesecake. 5-9 p.m. $59.

The Buffet: Only open to select members of Valley View’s Players Card program, featured menu items will include corned beef, sautéed cabbage, roasted red potatoes, Irish shortbread cookies and green velvet cake. 4-8:30 p.m.  $42.

The Café and Patties & Pints: The two restaurants will offer a three-course meal with a choice of soup or salad; entrée of corned beef and cabbage with roasted red potatoes and seasonal vegetables; and Baileys Irish Cream cheesecake for dessert. The Café’s hours are 7:30 a.m.-2 p.m. and Patties & Pints hours are 4- 9 p.m. $24.
