Highway 330 reopens as Manzanita wildfire near Running Springs is 15% contained – San Bernardino Sun

Highway 330 reopened on Saturday morning after it was closed in both directions Friday because of the Manzanita fire near Running Springs.

The fire remained at 27 acres and was about 15% contained on Saturday.

The fire was initially estimated at 50 acres, but the acreage was later reduced to nearly half that size, according to the U.S Forest Service. No evacuation orders were issued and no injuries were reported.

Firefighters are continuing with ground and air attacks. The cause of the fire has not been determined.
