Fontana man suspected of 10 Freeway road rage brawl arrested – San Bernardino Sun



A man suspected of attacking another driver with a weapon on the 10 Freeway in Ontario last week was arrested on Saturday, Nov. 12, authorities said.

On Friday, Nov. 11, two vehicles were heading east on the freeway when the drivers became agitated with each other and a road rage incident occurred, according to the California Highway Patrol. The drivers pulled over on the Etiwanda Avenue off-ramp and got into a brawl.

The suspect used an unknown weapon during the fight and seriously injured the other driver before getting back into his vehicle and fleeing.

The victim was taken to a hospital.

Robert Michael Jackson, 53, of Fontana, was arrested a day later and booked on suspicion of attempted murder, battery with serious bodily injury and assault with a deadly weapon.
