Fontana Community Senior Center offers softball club for seniors – San Bernardino Sun

Men and women 55 and older who enjoy slow-pitch softball are invited to join the Fontana Community Senior Center Softball Club.

The club meets 8-10 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays on Field 3 at Jack Bulik Park, 16581 Filbert St., and members say the club is about having fun, staying active and making friends.

“I’ve been on this team for 11 years now and it’s brought me through some tough times,” Louie Ralles, a member of the Softball Club, said in a news release. “This team means so much to me, and my love for softball keeps bringing me back.”

A current Fontana Community Senior Center membership is required to participate. Memberships are available to people 55 and older for $20 per year. Non-resident fees and processing fees may apply.

The Fontana Community Senior Center is at 16710 Ceres Ave. For information about the Softball Club and other senior clubs, go to fontana.org/3471/Senior-Membership-Programming or call 909-854-5151.
