Construction is slated to close the eastbound 210 Freeway in either Highland or San Bernardino nightly this week through the morning of Friday, April 1.

Connectors, roads and ramps will also be closed starting Monday night, March 28, in spots throughout the work zone into Redlands, according to the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority.

The full eastbound closures will last from 11:59 p.m. to 5 a.m. at either Fifth Street in Highland or Del Rosa Avenue in San Bernardino, but not both at the same time.

Also set for nights this week are connector closures between the 210 and the 10 Freeway in Redlands, and between southbound Highway 330 and the eastbound 210 in San Bernardino. The connectors are slated to be closed between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. into Sunday morning.

A 55-hour closure of the westbound on-ramp and eastbound off-ramp at Base Line in Highland is set from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. April 4.

Nightly street closures at the 210 this week include Victoria Avenue in Redlands; Base Line and Fifth Street/Greenspot Road in Highland; Sterling Avenue in San Bernardino; and either Highland or Arden avenues in San Bernardino but not both at the same time.

A temporary eastbound crossover lane between San Bernardino Avenue in Redlands and Base Line that shifts the fast lane to the other side of the center median is expected to stay in place until about June.

Construction is dynamic and subject to change. Weather could affect whether construction can take place.

Work on the $200 million widening and interchange project is expected to end in summer 2023.
