There are a couple of dates to watch next week.

Monday, March 14 is Pi Day, meaning that some pizza shops will have deals, often involving $3.14.

Thursday, March 17 is St. Patrick’s Day, meaning restaurants will be serving a lot of corned beef and cabbage (and beer). Southern California casinos have special entertainment as well as special menu items in their restaurants.

With spring on the way, we have a massive amount of information about Disney California Adventure’s Food & Wine Festival, which runs through April 26 in Anaheim.

Hungry folks driving the 10 Freeway can choose from four new restaurants in Calimesa. Columnist John Plessel has the details.
