The Redlands Conservancy will hold a Día de los Muertos event Nov. 5 and 6 at the Asistencia in Redlands.
The event, running from noon to 7 p.m. each day, will feature food, mask making, face painting, dance lessons, altar displays and entertainment by Ana Gonzalez Jorgenson, Los Romeros, Jose Agua and Ballet Folklorico Cultural.
The Conservancy held its first Día de los Muertos event at the Asistencia in 2021, with about 1,000 people attending and about 300 young people participating in mask making, according to a news release.

There who want to create an altar in tribute to a loved one may reserve a space for $50 at AsistenciaDiadeLosMuertos2022.eventbrite.com. Reservations are accepted through Nov. 4.
The Asistencia, a reconstruction of a ranch outpost of Mission San Gabriel, is at 26930 Barton Road, Redlands.
All funds raised at the Día de los Muertos event go toward the Asistencia’s operations and restoration.
