Cal State San Bernardino honors 2,800 in first live commencement ceremony in 3 years – San Bernardino Sun


More than 2,800 undergraduate and graduate students in Cal State San Bernardino‘s Class of 2022 were awarded their college degrees this week at the Toyota Arena in Ontario.

The commencement ceremonies on Friday, May 20, and Saturday, May 21, were the first to be held in person since the outset of the coronavirus pandemic.

In addition to celebrating graduates from the colleges of Social and Behavioral Sciences, Business and Public Administration, Natural Sciences, Arts and Letters, and Education, Cal State San Bernardino awarded honorary doctorates to Santos Manuel, founding leader of the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, and to Paulette Brown-Hinds, founder of Voice Media Ventures.
