Discount retailer Burlington Stores announced it will open a new location in Menifee this spring, boosting its California count to 96 stores.
A company representative said the new location is expected to open May 27.
The store, at 30054 Haun Road in the Menifee Countryside Marketplace, will offer a variety of men’s and women’s wear and accessories, children’s clothing, shoes, home decor items, toys and pet products.
Burlington also offers a layaway program that allows customers to put a deposit down and come back later to pay the outstanding balance and retrieve the merchandise.
Additional Burlington stores will open this spring in Pico Rivera, San Dimas and Mira Mesa, although those opening dates have not been revealed.
“California continues to be a valuable state for Burlington, presenting many great growth opportunities,” the company said, adding that it strives to create jobs and provide a “value-focused” shopping experience.
At the end of fiscal 2021, Burlington operated 840 stores in 45 states and Puerto Rico.
