Welcome back to another round of entertainment trivia. July’s schedule is mostly focused on live music with various genres for everyone to enjoy. Concertgoers can expect the sounds of country, rock, norteño and more.

Sammy Hagar grew up in Fontana, California and attended Fontana High School. His father worked at the Kaiser Steel Mill, which is no longer around. Skid Row began calling themselves by that name when they started in the mid-’80s but not before buying it from the British guitarist Gary Moore who sold the group the name for $35,000. Moore was in a band in the ’70s, also called Skid Row and had the rights to the name.

The band was initially fronted by Sebastian Bach, who left the band in 1999. Johnny Solinger replaced Bach and stayed with the band until 2015. The band is currently fronted by Erik Grönwall, the 2009 winner of the reality show” Swedish Idol.”
