$2.2 million Powerball winner is running out of time to collect – San Bernardino Sun

The owner of a $2.2 million-winning Powerball ticket sold last fall at a Perris gas station has yet to come forward.

The ticket was purchased Oct. 27, 2021, at Circle K, 19470 Brown St., according to California Lottery officials. The winner has until Monday, April 25, to cash in.

The winning numbers were 3-26-51-35-6 with a red Powerball of 17, lottery officials said in a news release Friday, April 22. The winning ticket matched the first five numbers.

Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket should complete a California Lottery claim form on the agency’s website.

If not collected by Monday, the $2.2 million prize will go toward supporting public schools in California, the news release said.

The lottery has generated more than $1 billion in unclaimed prizes since 1985, according to the release.

Powerball winners who match five numbers have 180 days from the draw date to claim their prize.
